If you are under the impression that this one is a comedy flick like any other Priyadarshini film, you will be as surprised I was. This one is horror! Although, I am glad they did not promote it as one. Because if they did, the box office would have got thumps down!
The first one hour of the movie is very slow and boring until the macho man, Akshay Kumar makes his hot appearance. This guy gets the best actor award. He is so natural and at ease in front of the camera, that you want to slap Shiney Ahuja for his over acting and push him to join Akshay’s acting class. Vidhya Balan was not bad as a banshee.
Paresh Rawal and Rajpal Yadav continue their usual slapstick, which kept the movie light through out. It was good fun although I seriously wish if it was a lot more shuddery. Never mind, it was a decent attempt.
If you plan to watch this one, for the song Hare Ram Hare Ram Hare Krishna Hare Ram, sorry to say guys, this song is not a part of the show. It was all for promotion. But don’t be disheartened, they play this song by the end while the credits are rolling. The crowd did hang around and they didn’t leave the hall until it was over. Plus, now I know, Labon ko is a song from this movie.
Yes, Bhool Bhulaiya is a paisa vasool flick. Go for it!
