Pallavi Kulkarni, a resident of Chembur, is the
talk of the town. All this and much more, for this pretty young thing
who stars in one of the most talked about television shows of recent
times

Pallavi Kulkarni is a well known face on the small screen. However, her
latest show ‘Vaidehi’ has made her one of the most famous personalities
on TV today.
“It has been two years since I moved out of Chembur and shifted to Goregaon but I miss Chembur a lot,” says Pallavi.
She started off doing television commercials and her first soap
that came on air was ‘Hadd Kar Dii’, followed by ‘Kehta Hai Dil’,
‘Ateet’, ‘Kya Hadsa Kya Haqeeqat’ and now ‘Vaidehi’. “ After seeing my
friends getting a portfolio done, even I got one done and bagged quite
a few commercials. I was fortunate to get offers for TV serials too,”
she informs. Pallavi did her schooling from the Loreto Convent School
in Rashtriya Chemical Fertilizers (RCF) colony, where she resided along
with her family.
“I think RCF is the most beautiful place in Chembur and during
monsoons the view is breathtaking,” she avers. Due to her hectic
working schedules, she has not been able to visit Chembur for a long
time now. “I pass from Chembur only while going towards Pune or
anywhere out of Mumbai,” she says. Her favourite hangout was Croissants
near Diamond Garden. Talking about food, Pallavi surely could not stop
raving about the chain of restaurants available in Chembur.
Unlike other television actors, Pallavi manages to remove time for
herself as her show is a weekly and not a daily soap. “I work for 20
days in a month. I prefer weekly shows to daily ones,” she says.
Apart from the commercials, she is just doing one show and seems
quite content with it. “The team is very good and co-operative and I am
just hoping that the show goes well,” hopes Pallavi.
